Do you use machine translation?
We use writing and translation tools, and every page then goes through a checklist review: units, lengths, glossary and facts. If you also want a native translator to review it, that can be added to any pack.
How is this different from Shopify’s free translation?
Shopify translates what you already have. We improve the page first, add the units each market expects and choose the words people search for. See the point-by-point comparison.
Do you need access to my shop?
Not necessarily. A catalogue export is enough. If you want us to run the import, you give us collaborator access and remove it when we are done.
What do you need from me to start?
Your shop link, the languages you want and, if you have them, any facts missing from the pages: size, materials, care.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes, with WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress. If your shop has no language plugin yet, we will suggest one that fits your setup.
Do you translate terms of sale and returns policies?
No. They are legal texts and should be handled by a lawyer or a sworn translator. We say so upfront.
What if I sell cosmetics or food?
We write the pages, but health claims, ingredients and labelling must be approved by your compliance lead. We translate them as given and add nothing.
Who owns the copy?
You do, as soon as you pay. The glossary too.
Can I ask for changes?
Each pack includes one round of edits on delivery. If the mistake is ours, we always fix it, with no limit.
Do you invoice businesses outside Spain?
Yes. EU businesses with a valid VAT number are invoiced without Spanish VAT (reverse charge).
What is Blackline Bookings?
It is the electronic music booking agency behind Catálogo Políglota. Writing listings, bios and copy in several languages is part of our daily work; this is the service we offer to online shops.
